studio snippets

Snapshots of my current works in progress, my thoughts and feelings in the studio lately.

I have been painting like crazy in my new studio. I have three shows booked in this year alongside a handful of commissions that all seem to have come at once. However I have really pushed myself, my work and I am starting to see the results now in the pieces I am working on.

These photographs show the middle/nearing the end stage for these pieces. This whole body of work has been really exciting to work on. I have been exploring dark deep colours and blues especially. Drawing inspiration from the natural landscape of deep rivers and bodies of water.
